This story comes from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Apparently some guy tried to steal some knives from a Meijer store and managed to stab himself in the process.

I guess this guy had a few screws loose because he thought hiding the $300 worth of hunting knives in his waistband was a smart idea. As he was trying to escape, store security attempted to stop him. Being the genius that he was, the man got into a scuffle, fell, and accidentally stabbed himself in the abdomen. The incident hurt the man’s pride more than his body and he’s expected to make a full recovery. This guy really needs a new day job.
