A man in Alabama has confessed to throwing his four children off a bridge on Monday January 7 after having a fight with his wife. The man initially reported the children as missing but confessed to the crime the net day. More after the jump.
Police noticed inconsistencies in the man’s story and confronted the man. Later, the man admitted to having thrown the children off a bridge but later retracted his confession claiming that police forced him to admit the crime. Apparently, the man drove to the Dauphin Island bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway in Alabama, stopped at the highest point, which was 80 feet, and then threw the children off. A search is underway for 4-month-old Danny Luong; 1-year-old Lindsey Luong; 2-year-old Hannah Luong; and 3-year-old Ryan Phan. All four are presumed dead. About 70 people in boats and helicopters are currently searching for the missing children. The search area was initially 100 square miles but has been expanded to 150 miles.
