Jesus Stain on Log

Do you see Jesus? DO YOU? DO YOU?

I don’t.

But read about this interesting story of a man who was inspired and “found his faith” through this “miracle” find. He now attends church 3-4 times a week (which is basically a 75% attendance rate, which is pretty pious right?). It’s not like he put up the log on Ebay to see what offers he’d get “as a joke”… nevermind, he did. Read more about this miracle log below, and how you might see it in a classic five piece dinette set!

In Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Craig O’Connor found what he believes to be an image of Jesus with his arms outstretched, the rings of the tree forming a halo around it’s head. O’Connor said it looked like “Jesus ascending to heaven. Take me, thats what it looks like to me. It’s a natural stain, a natural sap stain.” Believing it to be a sign from God, he has starting going to Church most weekends, and is less quick to become angry (just don’t tell him it ain’t Jesus!).

He claimed that the message of the log is Jesus saying, “Believe in me. I’m still here. Have faith in me.” As a “joke,” O’Connor listed it on Ebay, pulling it after getting a high offer of $500. Now he wants to make it into a piece of furniture, apparently considering making the Jesus log the centerpiece. As if that was not a foregone conclusion for such “definitive” evidence of God’s presence on Earth. Being Fox News of course, our source states that “this isn’t the first time an image of a holy figure has been found,” referencing images on a grilled cheese sandwich, pizza pan, and a fish stick. Don’t doubt the veracity!

I would bet that Jesus and God would place their image in less odd places, and in a more definitive fashion if they were really interested in “getting the word out.” Don’t know if giving someone an image on a cheese sandwich so they can sell it to the richest fool is what God would go for on Earth. But if this really is an image of Jesus placed by God, boy will my face be red when I die! But right now, it looks more like the grim reaper or a weird tree mushroom thing than Jesus. That’s just me, but I too don’t want to be smited.
