According to Politico.com, “Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign intends to go after delegates whom Barack Obama has already won in the caucuses and primaries if she needs them to win the nomination.” And technically, these people can switch, as they are not bound by any pledge, even in the initial stages of voting. If this seems a little more serious than traditional ITR-fare, don’t worry, we’ll pop some jokes off after the jump, just stay with us!

Ahh, nothing like a mediocre lolcats ripoff… surprisingly this was the most flattering picture of her we found. Admittedly, we didn’t search much, or at all.
Trying to slow the Barack Obandwagon, Hilary Clinton is aiming at a few states to re-energize her bid for the Democratic nomination, but right now Obama looks to be leading. In the case that he does win the majority of the delegates, the nomination may come down to whoever can woo delegates and the so called “superdelegates” to their side. Republicans are licking their lips at the prospect of a divided Democratic party, which could open the door to another 4 years of White House control, in spite of really low approval ratings for the current Republican president George Bush. It’s politics baby!
One thing we have noticed about the three candidates. Whoever does win the presidency, they will look unlike any of the previous presidents. Just think about it:
- Hilary Clinton - Is ostensibly a woman. That’d make Bill Clinton the first lady-man.
- Barack Obama - He’s black. Our history classes might have failed us, but we think that probably 100% of the past presidents were white.
- John McCain - He is so old that his memory is in black and white, and he’s really wrinkly. But I guess he looks the most “traditional.”
ITR officially endorses whoever looks like they are going to clearly win, because we are winners, so for the Democratic nomination we are still undecided, but leaning Obama. For the Republican nomination, congratulations John McCain you have been officially endorsed by ITR!
