Heath Ledger’s death was a big deal to most media companies. For the most part, the news of his death and the subsequent investigation prevented news stations from reporting on “solid” news…yeah, right. Most people know local news is a bit of a joke since they mainly report on crap. Being the forerunner on crappy news, Fox News decided to interview Montel Williams on Heath Ledgers death. This video is kind of old seeing as how Heath Ledger died in January but the video is worth being posted.

Basically, when asked about Heath Ledger’s, Montel mentions the number of troops that have died in Iraq since January and asks why there is no media attention to that. He’s nice enough to express his condolences to Ledger’s family but then asks the “reporters” why so much attention is given to Heath Ledger. One of the interviewer’s responses is golden, “Heath Ledger was a cultural icon” and “Why DON’T we report on the troop deaths in Iraq?” followed by looking at Montel for answers. In the end, the interview did not go as expected and the interviewers just sat there looking like morons (big surprise!…except not) Unsurprisingly, several Fox owned networks quickly dropped Montel’s show. What a bunch of morons, picking on a guy that points out the obvious.
