Paris Hilton, “acting” in House of Wax

Paris Hilton recently sat as a judge in the Miss Turkey 2008 contest, crowning Leyla Lydia Tugutlu the new Miss Turkey. As the granddaughter of a hotel baron Paris Hilton has basically become a socialite, not needing to work a day in her life. That would be fine by itself, but her warped perception of her value never cease to amaze. She even considers herself a role model to girls, seriously. We wish we were joking. More words and “wisdom” from Hilton herself below:

Paris Hilton has said that:

I don’t pay attention to lies because I am a good person, I work very hard and I’ve built this empire on my own. I think this is an inspiration for a lot of girls out there.

If her grandfather wasn’t Barron Hilton (who donated 97 percent of his $2.3 billion dollars in wealth to charity), what kind of “empire” would she really have? None of course. We aren’t really sure where or how she “works,” but we’ll take her word for it.

When asked if she thought she was a role model, Paris said “Yes.”

This is of course the same woman who gained notoriety for appearing in an amateur sex tape in 2003 three, has spent time in jail for drunk driving, and milks her inexplicable fame to sell a wide range of overpriced products.

The “role model” for young girls is starting her own reality show in which people will compete to be Paris Hilton’s new “BFF” (best friend forever), called “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF”. If that doesn’t make you want to throw up yet, here’s what she had to say about it:

I obviously have a lot of friends already, but I just thought it would make great TV show. You know, most of my friends are from Hollywood. They are kind a jaded a little bit. We are going to be meeting people from all around the world.

Jaded? This is the same woman who appeared in the reality TV show “The Simple Life,” in which producers revealed her to be a rich and spoiled girl, “overcome by the boring routine of daily, middle-class life.”

How the heck is Paris Hilton famous anyways? She’s not even that hot.
