A 14-year-old high school student from Iowa’s Davenport Central High School stole an iPod from a female student’s purse and held it for ransom. The next day, a note appeared in her purse that demanded she email a video of herself performing a sexual act in order to get it back. The girl was smart enough to tell someone about the theft and police were quick to track the teen down. He is now charged with theft, extortion, and sexual exploitation of a minor. Sadly, police think the teem may have stolen at least two more iPods from other students.
Who knows what else this kid has done or is capable of doing. Apparently he’s never heard of this nifty little thing known as the internet that makes it easy for you to get this kind of material without having to extort people. Chances are there’s something mentally wrong with him because no one in their right minds would ever consider doing this. Perhaps a psychological evaluation is in order?
