A girl was born in India with two faces, literally. She can eat and breath normally, in spite of the fact that she has four eyes, two lips, and two noses. The parents were intially scared, but have accepted her into their family because of the impossibility of corrective surgery. More photos after the jump:
The parents don’t want the baby to undergo treatment, and locals are flocking to see the baby and treating her as a “miracle” child. Many view her as a reincarnation of Lord Ganesh, half-man and half-elephant, and are showering her parents with money for the privilege to see the baby. Apparently the baby is fed “through one mouth and sucks her thumb with the other,” according to Vinod Kumar the father.
Born to poor rural laborers, the baby had no pre-natal care. With the two skulls joined together, separating them are essentially out of the question. How long the girl will live or what developmental problems may develop is unknown at this point.

It’s God’s creation which we must accept, yet there is away to make that girl’s life better medically. I really do hope to see her in her twenties and onwards.
