Well, that can probably be answered in a variety of ways. In this case, this park ranger messed up in several ways. The biggest errors were doing it by himself, not securing the cage to the truck, and most importantly, doing it by himself! If you look at the pictures you can clearly see someone sitting in the passenger side. What were they doing that was more important than helping a fellow ranger free a wild animal?
