Red dye spilled on a highway near Boston by a semi-truck April 2007
Everyone knows a lot of the cargo hauled across land throughout the world is taken in semi-trucks. We’ve all seen the occasional truck loaded with brand new cars, farm animals, milk, fuel, etc. Well, have you ever wondered what all that would look like strewn about the highway? Actually, we haven’t either. Truckspills.com is a site that compiles pictures of truck accidents from around the world. It calls itself “The website of odd, strange, interesting, and unbelievable things spilled on the road by trucks.” They’ve got everything from spilled milk, fruits veggies, Sunny Delight, beer, cocaine (yeah, we’re serious), and the occasional batch of bees, bunnies, chickens, and even whale guts and horse blood. Although the last two are kind of gross, the site is actually pretty interesting and a decent way to waste time. Who would have thought?
