The Mercedes Benz anti-theft system no one talks about: seats so soft thieves fall asleep.

This story is from Kuaa Lumpur, Malaysia, basically the coolest name for a city ever. A Malaysia policeman was high on drugs when he decided to try an steal a CD player from a parked Mercedes Benz. Apparently he forgot about what he was doing and fell asleep in the luxurious and comfortable seats (what thief hasn’t done this right?). The officer is allegedly a member of a gang linked to widespread break-ins and other thefts, and after his arrest led police to three other members of the gang associated with the police force. All in all, a bad day for a bad cop and a bad gang.

We’ve featured stupid policemen from other countries, but this guy probably takes the cake… of shame. It tastes chalky and sad we’re sure.
