Olive Garden and Playboy, a classic match!

Most people go for the endless salad and breadsticks, but apparently some go for the attractive waitresses. Playboy is searching for the best looking waitresses from the Olive Garden, in one of the weirdest business arrangements we’ve ever seen. The Olive Garden, targeted toward the middle class and families united with a nudie magazine? We wonder who paid who, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the Olive Garden paid for the privilege. Though Playboy claims the search is not affiliated with the Olive Garden at all, and apparently the pictures of Kendra Wilkinson are a form of appeasement.

According to the Playboy page, the drive to find attractive Olive Garden waitresses was powered by Kendra Wilkinson, who stars in the show The Girls Next Door covering her life and others at the Playboy Mansion. Apparently her Myspace page states that “the owner of Olive Garden” is among the people she would like to meet. Right. This seems like a weird move for a magazine that is losing relevance and clout due to the internet. Latch onto the sexy appeal of noodles and breadsticks! We still can’t get over the fact that it’s the Olive Garden of all places.

For shame! Representatives from both companies have stated that if they take their business relationship further, they might offer endless breadsticks and boobies.
