Florida is great. It gives us so many wonderful stories to post on ITR. Take this woman for example, she went to a see a neighbor and found him dead. Instead of acting like a normal, decent human being and calling the cops, she decided to rip him off. Hey, what’s he gonna do with his money after he’s dead, right?

33-year-old Paula Ariail went to see her 59-year-old neighbor, Paul Douglas, and was “flabbergasted” to find him dead. Ariail, an opportunist by nature, took advantage of the situation and decided to make lemonade when handed lemons. She returned to Douglas’ home several times afterwards and stole the man’s credit cards and checkbook. That wasn’t enough for her though because she eventually returned to get the guy’s car.

Police stopped Douglas’ car and arrested Ariail, who then admitted she knew Douglas was dead. She is now charged with “fraudulent use of personal identification information and burglary.”

Really, how morally corrupt do you have to be to do something like this? Maybe there was something mentally wrong with this woman because she’d have to be a little messed up to not only ignore reporting the body, but also having the guts to rob the guy and take off in his car. Only in Florida…
