Welcome to our “Weekly Review,” a snapshot of the past week’s weird news featured on ITR! Now extra fried.
Top stories: An 80-year-old man has been walking around the world for the past 18 years… imagine the callouses… a poisonous spider infestation shuts down one Australian hospital, and PETA offers $1 million to the first person to make meat in a test tube. Those are just a few of the tasty subjects from the week that was!
- We aren’t just all frivolity and giggles, this week we had a few serious posts. The good news is that Type 2 Diabetes is almost cured. We also learned that 70,000 years ago humanity was almost wiped out and that American life expectancy has fallen for the first time since 1980! Of course the latter makes sense when cities do things like pair fast food and dieting.
- Not only are people living shorter of lives, but some are living “stupider” ones too. From the carjacker who asked for directions to the man who blew up his home making fireworks. And with the price of gas as it is, who can afford to pump gas into an imaginary car?
Random Headlines:

An Ebay buyer is being sued for his neutral feedback
Video of the week: A Russian MiG shoots down a drone, caught on tape!
Comment of the week: zflynn on “7-year-old boy takes SUV on fun joyride. Drenched in sarcasm, its a scathing commentary on American culture and the justice system… we think:
“What? They didn’t charge the grandmother with some sort of felony? At least for not strapping the kid in a “child seat” should be considered. Come on, this is America, where every little misfortune, no matter how idiotic or relatively inconsequential needs to be blamed on someone who can be sent to prison for a long time.”
So, that’s the week wrap-up. Of course this is just a fraction of the stories we’ve had this week, so you really should just visit us everyday and save everyone a lot of trouble!
