36 Guinea prisoners escaped from their jail cell last week after using spoons to scoop out the baked earth walls of their cell. The area experienced heavy rainfall last week, making it easy to remove the water softened walls. Once they reached the outer wall, the prisoners used shirts and sheets to fashion a rope to scale the wall. What kind of two-bit operation are they running down there? Why wasn’t anyone watching them? We imagine it took them a while to dig through the wall so it’s surprising to find they were able to do so without anyone finding out. Oh well, good for them for using some ingenuity.
