Beer makes people do crazy things
An Australian driver is in deep legal trouble after being caught driving without securing his five-year-old child in a seatbelt. But Constable Wayne Burnett was “shocked and appalled” at what else he saw: a carton of beer secured with a seatbelt inbetween two adults in the back of the car. Instead of one of the adults holding the beer and letting the child take the middle seat (and the seatbelt), they strapped in the beer to keep it safe and from shaking too much we suppose. The driver was also fined for driving and unregistered and uninsured vehicle, so apparently child safety isn’t the only area he needs an education.
