One of Giarre, Sicily’s city workers is extremely dedicated to the job. Not only does he do his job well, he also has no problem bringing work home with him. Too bad the guy is a garbage man and his home is an apartment with several other tenants. After receiving several complaints from area residents, city officials arrived at the home to find it was completely packed with garbage. The apartment was so full that the family had trouble performing necessary tasks.

For example, they family slept on lawn chairs because they were unable to get to their beds. Chances are the garbage man had a condition known as “compulsive hoarding“, where the sufferer insists on storing even the most mundane things just because they can’t help it. It amazes us that the family did not complain about it or try to do anything. City officials removed the garbage and are planning on fumigating and cleaning it. Meanwhile, the family is staying at a nearby hotel. Hopefully he doesn’t decide to trash that as well.
