This is the weekly review for May 12th to May 18th. Another week, another slate of great stories. Lessons have been learned and wisdom bestowed, but if you haven’t been keeping up here’s your chance to catch up. We had 32 posts this past week, so let’s go through some of the highlights!

1. A man in a homemade jetpack flies over the Alps, making millions jealous, instantly. Jerk.
2. A double-amputee sprinter won the right to run in the Olympics, but others cry foul, calling his Cheetah limbs “Cheater limbs”.
3. A man is jailed when his daughter can’t pass the GED.

Themes of the week:

• Won’t somebody think of the children? A family left their toddler alone at an airport, unaware of the mistake until the airline told them at their next destination! Instead of strapping their child into a seatbelt, a few genius adults instead strapped down their beer, leaving the child sitting on the floor! Lastly, one teacher is in hot water after taping a kid’s mouth shut. The kid with the most problems is the one who was subpoenaed for an unpaid chiropractor bill. Once again, why do babies need chiropractors?
• Who says it can’t be fun to learn? We learned that pirates may have been the first democrats, and that thousands of gas pumps in America can’t handle the rising cost of gas. Phone companies charge 4 times more money for text message data than it costs to have the same data sent from the Hubble Space Telescope. What a bargain!
