The Japanese government is appointing a new tourism ambassador for China and Hong Kong. Universally accepted by both countries, the appointment of Hello Kitty has the potential to foster a new era of relations between the countries, at least that’s what Japan thinks. This just reminds us of their other ambassador appointments, such as Doraemon, the anime ambassador.
The Japanese government hopes its new “Visit Japan Campaign” has the potential to attract 10 million overseas tourists by 2010. Hello Kitty was selected because of its popularity in China, as well as elsewhere. This makes us wonder what they’re planning for the US. Maybe they’ll make Pikachu the “Please love and visit Japan because we desperately want you to like us” ambassador or start a Gundam Wing campaign.
“A Hello Kitty blog will start around late June on the Chinese language page of the campaign website to introduce tourist attractions in Japan, including historic and popular sites, Kyodo said.”
We understand that they want people to visit the country but we think they should go a different route. This, coupled with Doraemon’s appointment as a “charm ambassador in a bid to promote the nation’s culture and win the hearts of future world leaders”, makes us believe the Japanese government is running out of ideas and is now resorting to the ridiculous.

I love Hello Kitty 2 she is so cute my room is decorated in hello kitty hello kitty shower curtten bath towl washcloths trash can soap despencer rug!! Lol

alright wow ok. hello kitty doing real good for herself. she the best choice and do great in office. i know first hand. me and kitty went to future to team up that one time to beat doraemon. he a evil megaterminator 5000 built by cyberdinner. see this terminator is no regular terminator he mega. he trap us in abandoned house in the woods in tokyo. we try to run but door close. i try to open it BUT IT LOCK I THINK. i use my secret power (for you that dont know my hands were born on indian burial ground or something so they super) but the door was reinforced with steel and metal
and other metal. lucky kitty brought her wand and shoot a heart that open the door. then we ran doraemon say “you will never escape my clutch shivpappa and hello kitty.” he cackled. “you forgot the damn 0 you evil robot” i said back but didnt cackle. he pull out nuclear adom bomb from his pocket. this is when i knew our lives became in danger. doraemon launch that there nuclear adom bomb at us. i slap it with MY BAREHANDS it flew to the moon VAPERIZING IT. then the moon fall back down on doraemon SHATTERING HIM INTO PEICES. i had not see hello kitty since. wow i still have her digits i should hit her up and see what it is these days.

I really love hello kitty a lot! I am fun of it. Because i’m a cat lover since then…. Ive been collecting all accessories i’ve seen in the super market. Everytime i go shopping i love to spend more time in choosing those cute accessories …
