Dealership: “Congrats on buying a new car. Would you like free gas or gun with your purchase?”

A Kansas City, Missouri car dealership has begun a new campaign known as “Guns & Gas” offering either a $250 gas card or a $250 credit at a local gun store with every purchase. Apparently rising gas prices are not bothering some people because they would prefer to take the gun instead of gas. All things considering, the gun will last longer anyway. Besides, you could also use it to hold up a store to get more cash.

The gas station began offering the deal a few days ago and has experienced a sudden explosion in sales.

“This thing has taken off. Sales have quadrupled,” said Muller. The store sells both used and new vehicles including General Motors and Ford products.

Additionally, all but 2 of the 30 car buyers opted for the free gun and one of them was a Canadian, we’re sure he would have picked the gun if he could. Apparently, the owner decided to start the deal after Senator Barack Obama made a statement regarding the people of the Midwest, their guns, and bibles.

Honestly, the idea is excellent. We’re surprised this wasn’t thought of before. It definitely seems like something Texans would take advantage of. The owner is fully aware his ad will draw protests from some people but he honestly doesn’t care. His employees could care less as well. One of the salesman told reporters:

“Our whole philosophy down here is guns, God, country,” Priest said, holding a gun near a banner of the dealership’s mascot, a caricature of a cowboy waving two handguns.

These guys truly are American. Too bad some places in the US outlaw handguns or else one of us would definitely know where we’re going for our next car.
