Like all good Communists do, members of Russia’s Communist Party have united against the new Indiana Jones movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (IMDb). Harrison Ford plays Indiana Jones as an archaeologist in 1957, competing against an evil KGB agent in his effort to find the “crystal skull,” a magical object. Russian Communists have said that the movie tries to undermine communist ideology and distort history, and one lawmaker even said that “it is very disturbing if talented directors want to provoke a new Cold War.” They are planning a boycott and hope that other Russians will support them. See, this is why Communism didn’t work. Why can’t they be more like this guy, the die-hard fan who was married in Indy’s garb? The world would be a happier place if people didn’t get so offended by overwrought Hollywood blockbusters
