A customs officer in Tokyo’s Narita airport made a huge mistake that gave one passenger an unsuspected boon of (illegal) marijuana. The officer apparently stuffed five ounces of weed into the side pocket of a randomly selected black suitcase coming off an overseas flight in order to train a sniffing drug dog. Unfortunately, for the customs officer, the drug sniffing dog wasn’t very good at its job, and failed to locate the suitcase. Even worse, the customs agent realized that he couldn’t remember which bag he put the marijuana in! A customs office spokeswoman could only apologize and hope that the passenger who found the drugs would return it.
