Monkey controlling a robotic arm with its brain
We are now one step closer to monkey cyborgs, or a monkey Robocop.

Many scientists work to help improve and save human lives. Others strap equipment to monkeys and run tests. The best do both. Monkey and machine have finally met, as two primates have been trained to control a robotic arm with their brains. Awesome! Probes the width of a human hair monitored the neuronal pathways of the monkeys’ motor cortex, allowing the monkeys to feed themselves with a robotic arm by merely thinking. The successful experiment might help lead to the development of mind-controlled robotic prosthetics for disabled humans.
