This is a case of YATPH (Yet Another Trashed Party House), this time involving a nearly $9 million mansion in Spain and a 16-year-old’s big mistake. After inviting people across Spain to drink “a lot of alcohol,” rumors spread that Jodie Hudson’s parents were getting divorced and would not mind the mansion being destroyed. Thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, clothes, and other items were looted from the mansion, televisions thrown into pools and furniture destroyed.
Hudson advertised the party as the “party of year” with copious amounts of alcohol and an amazing DJ. Her mother was the one who stopped the mayhem, calling the police as the party escalated. We hope she didn’t support her underage daughter’s decision to throw a massive alcohol fueled party, but rich parents aren’t always the best parents.
The party really did sound like mayhem:
“Somebody said that we were allowed to wreck the house because the birthday girl’s parents were getting divorced and there were kids behaving like gangsters from a rap video, throwing stuff around and smashing things. There were chairs, tables, even a TV in the pool.”
The police’s efforts to recover stolen property was pretty much futile:
“People scarpered in all directions, but the police managed to pull people over and search their bags and pockets, but it was already too late and a lot was gone.”
Unfortunately for the Hudsons, they have been trying to sell the house for awhile. It looks like some renovations will be needed before it can go back on the market!
