Some people multi-task careers well, but for anyone pulling off lawyer/musician is a difficult task. Attorney Mike Roman learned more about the struggle for recognition after he was booted from Cook County Criminal Courts after trying to give his demo CD to R. Kelly. “Mike Roman and the Tellstars” hasn’t yet hit the big time, so Mike Roman tried to offer Kelly a free copy of his CD “Cha Cha Time,” which Kelly turned down because of his gag order (and probably a slate of other good reasons). Before being forcibly taken out of the court room Roman tried to sell his CD to one of Kelly’s defense attorneys for $15. Not so sure that selling something you just offered for free will make it more desirable, but we guess that’s just Roman’s way. We hope he’s a better lawyer than music-promoter.
