A group of divers from Britain, France, and Sweden went scuba diving off the coast of Indonesia when they became stranded. The group jumped into the ocean when strong currents dragged them away from their boat. After spending 12 hours drifting across 20 miles of ocean and going through shark-infested waters, the group finally reached the shores of Rinca Island, only to be attacked by a Komodo dragon. Yeah, how crazy is that? Officials believe the animal was attracted to the group when it picked up their scent after they hit the coast. Luckily, the group was able to scare the animal off by pelting it with rocks. They spent one night on the island before getting rescued. They were lucky to not have been killed by the animal. Komodo dragons are notorious for being able to kill big animals, sometimes killing people too.
