Robert Downey Jr.’s career has recently revived after his starring role in Iron Man, a blockbuster comic book movie adaptation. Previously, Downey Jr. had struggled with drug and alcohol addiction for years, but has now publicly thanked Burger King for putting him on the road to recovery. High on drugs, Downey ordered a cheeseburger from Burger King that was so disgusting that he started to feel that “something really bad was going to happen.” He immediately threw his drugs into the ocean and started on his road to recovery. This strange turn of events was alluded to in the Iron Man movie itself, when his character asks for a cheeseburger from Burger King upon escaping from kidnappers. We aren’t sure if all this is good or bad publicity for the burger chain, but we know that things would have turned out differently if Downey Jr. had ordered a Whopper. Those things are delicious!
