An American woman hurt and lost in a German mountain can thank her “brightly colored sports bra” for saving her life. Stuck for more than three days, she attached the bra to a cable used for “transporting logs to a valley below,” and this bra was spotted by a logger and then a helicopter crew. Rescuing the woman was difficult because she had fell 18 feet down into a crevasse, but she survived with a small flask of water and some biscuits for days. She injured her shoulder, ankle, and head, but probably considers herself lucky for just surviving. If this were a guy, what would he have used, his brightly colored boxer briefs? The joke would be in poor taste if the woman wasn’t alright, and she can thank her lucky stars (or bra) for that!
