1) In September 2007 the item “Belgium, a kingdom in three parts” was posted for sale at a starting price of one Euro by former journalist Gerrit Six. It attracted an offer of 10 million Euros but was pulled down by eBay.

2) Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson put a dirty, germ-ridden handkerchief on eBay after revealing that her co-star Samuel L Jackson had given her a cold while filming new movie flop Spirit. The tissue raised £4,000, but Johansson gave the money away to charity.

Setenil de la Bodegas, a city in Spain’s Andalucia region, is a major drawcard for tourists coming to Ronda precisely because of the cave houses along the banks of the river.
In Roman times nearby Acinipo (about 4km from Setenil) was the main Roman city south of Córdoba and even pressed its own coins. The hills around Acinipo were filled with Roman vineyards, and at Setenil the Romans themselves stored wine in the caves.
Today, there are several important vineyards located around Ronda Viejo (the ruined city of Acinipo) and Setenil de la Bodegas.

Other than being built into the rock, Setenil is also one of the typical White Villages of Andalucia; villages that try to stay as cool as possible in this hottest region of Spain by whitewashing their houses every year, as white reflects sunlight best.

Injured Deer Visits Veterinary Clinic On Its Own

For veterinarian Agustin Cuesta and his staff at the clinic inside the Rossford (Ohio) PetSmart, Saturday brought their first deer patient and unaccompanied walk-in. He told officers he could treat it right there on the stockroom floor so it could return to the wild. After its cuts were stitched up, the deer bounded off across an intersection and back into the wild.

Opened in May of this year – the Octavio Frias de Oliveira bridge in Sao Paulo, Brazil – is a stunning x-shaped cable-stayed bridge that crosses the Pinheiros river in Sao Paulo. It’s design is unique in that the two curved decks of the bridge cross each other through its x-shaped supporting tower, an illuminated structure that stands 450ft tall and has attached to it 144 steel cables.

A 34-year-old Wal-Mart worker died Friday morning after “a throng of shoppers . . . physically broke down the doors” and knocked him to the ground as the crowd pushed its way into the Long Island, NY store.
A man died and a miscarriage occurred because people want to save a couple of dollars. This worker could have been a relative, a friend of anyone of us. Where are society’s morals, self restraint and humanity?

He doesn’t. Yet when people stand face-to-face with Nozomu Sato, the Japanese comedian known as Mr. Nocchi, they speak to him as if he really is the man racing for the White House. They tell Sato, “I’m going to vote for you!”
They call him Mr. President. Sato doesn’t understand 99 percent of what they say. What little English he speaks he pieced together from CNN:
“My name is Barack Obama! Change we need! Yes we can!”

Mandy Sellars’ legs are 4 times bigger than the normal size that make her life difficult. The woman with giant legs has Proteus Syndrome. If you look at the picture below, she has an enormous legs and feet. She could pass for a lady Hulk.
