Here’s a video of a banned Smart ForTwo commercial boasting about the benefits of the two-passenger car. Not only are these cars smaller, easier to park, and more fuel efficient, but according to this commercial they also help protect you from backseat killers. This was a perfect marketing campaign for the car. Too bad the commercial was banned.

Video: Most useless invention EVER!

This video is an infomercial for the Hula chair, aka the Hawaii chair. The Hula chair purportedly allows you to work out while at work by making circular motions that work out your abs. The fact of the matter is the chair is incredibly dumb as it does absolutely nothing beneficial. You don’t get a good workout because a machine is doing all the work for you and you don’t get any work done because the chair will knock you to the floor if you don’t hold on tight. We thought it was a joke at first but then found other videos of people trying them out. It’s amazing such a dumb product is on the market and, in all likelihood, actually sells thanks to all the people out there willing to believe you can work out without doing work. Anyway, check out the video below. We’re sure you’ll get a good laugh (we sure did). We found it especially funny when the woman in the infomercial is like “Look at all the things you can do while on it?” all while she’s struggling to stay on. It was as unconvincing as you could get.

Video: Did NBA referees fix games?

We don’t like either the Lakers or the Kings, but Tim Donaghy’s recent allegations concerning game six of the Western Conference Finals perked our interest. He is a referee that is currently being investigated for gambling issues of his own, but he alleges that the penultimate game of the series was decided by referees who listened to the commissioner when he said that a game seven would be in the “best interest for the league.” That’s true of course, another game means more airtime, more commercials, more seats, and more money. But did the referees really throw the game? It’s hard to tell, I personally remember some of the discussions after the game and the controversy, but it’s nearly impossible to find evidence of fixing, even with great video coverage. We may never know, but sports conspiracy theorists are probably very interested (and so is Ralph Nader, tireless consumer advocate and the butt of political jokes).

Video: Scary spider hunts down and eats frog

Plenty of people out there are afraid of spiders, or bugs and arachnids in general, so how would those people feel knowing some spiders are carnivorous and actually hunt small animals? Take this spider for example, it hunts animals such as frogs, injects them with a special chemical that liquifies its body, and then basically drinks them. Talk about crazy. Can you imagine Spider-man having this ability? No one would want to mess with him then. Watch the video to see the spider in action.

We at ITR are extremely fond of stupid criminals. In fact, we post about them all the time but these two men really take stupidity to another level. This clip, from LawyerShop TV, shows two would-be criminals getting owned by a window. You really need to watch it to fully enjoy it. We literally couldn’t stop laughing at these guys.

Video: Teacher bodyslams student, sort of

We love how one educational spokesperson says this is “not the regular thing that would happen in school.” We don’t know what school they went too, but spontaneous wrestling matches broke out on a daily basis at my school. We really feel that the teacher shouldn’t have been pressured to resign, considering the fact that even the kid in the video and his parents don’t want to press charges. Regardless, if he teaches again, he might want to avoid wrestling with his students, or ban camera phones. We just can’t believe that the police are trying to prosecute the teacher, there are many worse educators out there.
